PGT Kids exists to help kids and families find their place in God’s big story.
OUR PURPOSE is to partner with parents as they lead their children on the most significant journey of the lives – a relationship with Jesus. To support families, our Children’s Ministries helps to introduce your kids to the Bible in a fun way, give them opportunities to experience God through worship, build lasting friendships, and practice putting their faith into action.
OUR AIM is not to do this apart from families,  but through partnering with parents.
We launched a new, electronic check-in system on Sunday, May 6th!
All kids in nursery through grade 5 must now be checked in before going to class.
Watch these videos to find out how to check in your kids.

Keeping your children safe and secure is our top priority. Every child (infants through SK) is given a check-in tag that is matched with the parent’s identification number. All of our children’s volunteers are screened with an interview and federal background check and we have security personel that monitors the exits and hallways.

Small Groups

We believe that building community within the family of God is of utmost importance. That’s why we begin small groups as early as first grade. These groups are designed to be a safe place for kids to make friends, discuss the Bible, have fun, and build an extended faith family.

Parent Resources

When the church and family work together, we can do more than either one can do alone. That’s why it’s important that parents walk their children’s faith journey along with them. We want to partner with parents, and we do this through:

Nursing Moms:

We love families, and we want to make sure your family is cared for when you visit Parkwood. With this in mind, we have a dedicated space for nursing mothers. The Nursing Mom’s room has comfortable chairs, a changing station and a audio feed from the service so you won’t miss a thing!
The Nursing Moms room is located just inside our Nursery, and opens at 9:45am. To respect everyone’s privacy, this room is for women only.
There are additional baby change stations in our three main sets of washrooms, both male and female.

Child Dedication:

We love celebrating life with young families. We believe there is huge value in following the Biblical example of child dedication. This is a public commitment in which parents declare their intent to raise their child in a Christian home, and follow the Lord’s leadership in the development of their child. In turn, the church family commits to doing all that we can to love and support this child and family, as they grow together in our church.
At Parkwood, we have a prerequisite class for parents who wish to dedicate their child(ren).
If you are interested in dedicating your child at Parkwood, please click the button below, and complete our Dedication Request Form. Someone will be in touch with you with details about the workshop and dedication event.
